Jade’s eyes reflected the colors of the moon, and he suddenly felt pressure on his neck. All the air from his lungs seemed to have been sucked out as he struggled to breathe.

“Why? Were you planning to secretly kill him, or were you planning to lure him to a secret place to raid his space and get a hand on all the items he owns?” Raya asked with wariness in her eyes.

“Raya.” Vlad interrupted, but Raya only gave him a cool glance. “Brother, you are too naive. You shouldn’t trust these people. In an apocalypse, the most poisonous virus is the darkness in human hearts, not the zombie virus.”

Vlad felt embarrassed and felt like dragging his sister to a quiet corner and putting adhesive tape on her mouth.

Silas thought for a while before asking, “What about fish-related dishes?”

Vlad sighed, “I wish to eat fish-related dishes, but I don’t think anyone has any fresh fish; all of them either have processed fish or canned fish.”

Silas thought about the fish Ivy had but still decided not to make any decision on her behalf. What if his wife wants to save some and eat it later?

“I miss you…” He muttered while rubbing the photo with his thumb. “How are you now? Are you eating on time?”

“I will apologize to you once I return to the base. I shouldn’t have used a third person to make you understand anything. I promise not to do it again…”
